How does the invite (referral) system work?

Invite friends to The Desk with your personal link. When someone you invited joins and gets genuinely active, you earn pips, and your friend gets a welcome boost too. The more active traders you bring in, the more you earn, with bigger bonuses at milestones.

Where do I find my invite link?

• Open the Refer / Invite section on The Desk.
• You'll see your personal invite link and short code, something like desk.fundyourfx.io/r/YOURCODE.
• Share it in one tap to WhatsApp, Telegram, X or anywhere else. Anyone who joins through your link is tied to you automatically.

What counts as a successful (active) referral?
A friend signing up isn't enough on its own; it only counts once they're genuinely active. A referral becomes active when the friend you invited:

1. Verifies their email, and
2. Is active on at least 3 different days (check-ins, earning actions, games, predictions or community chat all count).

Until then the invite shows as pending on your dashboard, and you'll see exactly what's still needed. Once both are met, it flips to active and your pips are credited.

What do I earn, and what does my friend get?

• You (the inviter): 500 pips for each invite that becomes active.
• Your friend (the invitee): a 500-pip welcome bonus when they join, the same welcome boost every new member gets, with nothing extra layered on top.

Are there milestone bonuses?
Yes. On top of the per-invite reward, you earn escalating bonus pips as your count of active invites grows:

Each milestone pays out once, the moment you cross it.

Is there a limit or anything that won't count?

• To keep it fair, self-referrals don't pay. If you and the friend you invited signed up from the same connection, that invite is flagged and earns nothing.
• Invites that never reach the active bar (verified email + 3 active days) stay pending and don't pay.
• There's no monthly cap on rewarded referrals: every invite that goes active pays.

Is there a referral leaderboard or invite competition?
Yes:

• Referral leaderboard: see how you rank against other traders by active invites, on The Desk's Leaderboards.
• Invite competitions: from time to time we run a competition ranked purely by how many active traders you invite (no luck involved). Top of the leaderboard when it ends wins the prize. See the giveaways and competitions article.

Do invites help in giveaways too?
Yes. In draw giveaways, every friend you invite who enters through your link gives you an extra entry (bonus seat): more entries, better odds. Bonus entries vary per giveaway, so check the specific giveaway's rules.
